Promotes Spinal Health
Forward head posture can be caused a variety of factors; looking down at hand-held devices, sleeping with the head elevated excessively, or an acute injury such as whiplash.
The patent pending design allows the professional to select the proper height of the Apex Cervical Orthosis for each patient.
Two levels of firmness
Select from the original standard Apex or the new gentle version. Patients with an acute injury may find the gentle Apex to be more comfortable.
Instructions for Use
This product must be used under the supervision of a health care professional.
Place patient in supine position on a firm surface. Position the Apex in the area of lordotic loss. The larger angled surface should face the patient’s shoulders. For smaller patients or less aggressive treatment, carefully remove sections by completing cut along the scored lines. If necessary, removed sections can be replaced using double sided tape as treatment progresses.
Use for an initial treatment of 2 minutes. Increase each daily treatment in 1 minute intervals, with a maximum treatment time of 20 minutes.
Train patient to roll off of the Apex before sitting up post treatment. Some soreness or stiffness is normal, and our cold therapy CorPak should be applied to the affected area for 15 minutes after each treatment. (CorPak sold separately)
