Inspirational Speakers at Parker Seminars: Visionary Leaders, Transforming Lives
One of the many things I look forward to at the Parker Seminars is getting a fresh perspective on serving my customers. After spending three days talking with clinicians about their challenges and needs, my work flows a lot more naturally. I also get new insights from some keynote speakers about how I can help my customers find more fulfillment in the important work they do. Here are the keynote speakers I will be lining up to hear this year.
William E. Morgan: A Trailblazer in Chiropractic Excellence
Dr. William E. Morgan is a leader in the profession by any measure. He has been pivotal in shaping chiropractic care in the military. His first chiropractic clinic at the Walter Reed National Military Medical Center received the highest accolade for clinical excellence in 1998. Dr. Morgan also has helped develop care algorithms for spinal and musculoskeletal conditions.
Dr. Morgan has been chosen to serve as a chiropractor to U.S. Congress and Supreme Court members and provides chiropractic care at the White House as well. As president of Parker University, an accredited private university in Dallas, he has led the organization through significant growth.
David Goggins: Master of Mental Fortitude
Once an admitted couch potato, David Goggins is a retired Navy SEAL and the only man to have completed the trifecta of SEAL training, Army Ranger School, and Air Force Tactical Air Controller training. He’s an ultra-endurance powerhouse, having participated in over 70 ultra-distance races where he often finished in the top five.
I am looking forward to hearing Goggins speak about mastering the mind, the power of perseverance, and teaching others how to push beyond their perceived limits. Goggins is known for helping people redefine their boundaries and achieve what seems impossible.
Simon Sinek: A Visionary Optimist
Simon Sinek aims to help others feel optimistic about life and fulfilled in their work. He has been described as a visionary for promoting the importance of a “Why” statement—a compelling higher purpose that can inspire us in everything we do. His ideas are explored in several bestselling books, including such titles as “Start With Why” and “Leaders Eat Last.” Sinek’s insights have helped many people embrace more effective ways of thinking, acting, and communicating.
I hope to learn new ways to fulfill my mission in my own work from these keynoters — to help growth-focused chiropractors who feel stuck in their practices bring joy and enthusiasm back into their work.
