Aligning Expertise: Inside the Bustling Heart of the Biggest Chiropractic Trade Show
Florida lays claim to many distinctions, from its 237 days of year-round sunny weather to having more pickleball players than any other state in the country. It may come as no surprise that Florida is also the scene of the world’s biggest chiropractic trade show.
Orlando (which also happens to be the amusement park capital of the nation) is hosting The National by FCA this month, a Florida Chiropractic Association trade show that is expected to draw 3,000 attendees and 400 exhibits. We will be among them. This show affords us an especially good opportunity to visit with our longtime customers and meet new ones, see new and exciting products, and deepen our ties with old friends.
Orlando in mid-August can be hot, and we expect the free samples we will offer of our latest new product offering, Superieur Electrolytes, to be a big hit with attendees. (In this newsletter, you can read more about Superieur Electrolytes and its founder, Seth Bovio.) This beverage is unique in its category for using actual plant and berry extracts and naturally occurring sea minerals.
As the epicenter of the pickleball world, Florida also generates high demand for chiropractic care for pickleball elbow, knee and ankle sprains, quadricep and hamstring strains, plantar fasciitis, neuropathy, and other ailments common among fans of this fast-growing sport. One of our most popular products for these patients is AIRfeet RELIEF moving insoles, which can be placed over orthotic devices or directly on the insole of a shoe. Wayne Purcells, the president of AIRfeet, will be attending National by FCA and conducting demos of his popular products at our booth.
We will be featuring other recent additions to our product line. For clinicians looking to enhance the aesthetic appeal of their clinics or homes, we will be exhibiting posters from another recent acquisition, the Fine Art of Healing Series by Donna Krin Korkes. Korkes’ colorful interpretive oil paintings are based on X-rays of various parts of the body, and her work has graced the set of Grey’s Anatomy and the halls of many well-known medical institutions.
Our PrimeKinetix products, including the PostureMedic posture-training device, the MyoBalls massage product, and the PCore lower back brace, will also be on display. Also, we are delighted that our booth space is adjacent to our great friends and longtime customers at Accurate Manufacturing, maker of Comfort Gel Packs.
This huge show allows our customers and other visitors to make memories and have fun. After our longtime customer Chance Wunderlich of Wunderlich Chiropractic Clinic in Cape Coral, Florida, won our Yeti cooler giveaway two years ago, he gathered with his family members to pose for a photo. Many of Chance’s family members are very tall — except his aunt, who is quite diminutive. To elevate her to her relatives’ level, Chance had his aunt stand on the Yeti cooler, enabling her to look Chance straight in the eye. The outcome had us all laughing.
This exchange is just one example of why this show is so valuable. It allows me to see so many of our valued customers face to face and hear first-hand about their goals, needs, and concerns. The experience recharges me every year with renewed energy to help our customers serve their patients with the latest and greatest products at a reasonable price. If you visit the show, come by our booth and say hi. We will be happy to see you!
