Adjusting for Success: We Are Pumped About Our New Partnership!

As our customers know, our goal has always been to put the best products into chiropractors’ hands to benefit their patients and bottom line.

We are excited to announce a new partnership we believe will further that goal — a licensing agreement with PrimeKinetix, a Searcy, Ark. designer and maker of therapeutic and training products for athletes and consumers. PrimeKinetix has a range of cool new products coming out this year. (You can read more about them inside this newsletter.) We look forward to helping them grow their brand and educating more chiropractors about their benefits.

Over the last decade, PrimeKinetix has developed effective and economically priced rehabilitation products. Chiropractors like recommending the company’s products because they are helpful and easy to use, and chiropractors are also fairly compensated for carrying them. That makes PrimeKinetix products a win-win-win for the chiropractor, patient, and company.

Gabe Burrell, the CEO of PrimeKinetix, has more than 20 years of experience as an athletic trainer and physical therapist. He took everything he learned from his work and developed a successful line of posture training, back therapy, and massage devices to help patients heal musculoskeletal strain and improve their performance.

Posture Medic, PrimeKinetix’s original product and biggest seller so far, is designed to stretch the chest and anterior shoulder muscles and strengthen weak upper back muscles to hold the shoulders in place. We are also seeing sales gains in their MyoBalls, a massage product that wraps extremities in a compression band lined with massage balls.

Additionally, PrimeKinetix is launching a high-performing new kinesiotape called DC Tape, developed exclusively for doctors of chiropractic. DC Tape is receiving great feedback, including a powerful endorsement from expert speakers appearing at many professional events. We expect DC Tape to be a home run for our customers and their patients.

We plan on attending national trade shows together, and Gabe and his wife will attend others to introduce their products to a wider audience. We are eager to appear at more regional and state events.

This strategy of licensing a successful product line is new for us, and it is born of our experience. Our strength has always been offering select products to our customers, testing the market for them, and then throwing gasoline on the fire for the ones that take off. As the hard-working chiropractors we serve know all too well, we have historically supported many great brands in the chiropractic space. Inevitably, those brands grow not only from our efforts but also from the efforts of the chiropractors who promote their products.

Some of these brands have become so attractive that venture capitalists swoop in, snap them up, and sell them to consumer products companies that move them into the retail space. These companies make a lot more money selling at retail. But for us, the outcome is a lot less rosy. We lose wholesale access to the product, and our valued customers lose out, too.
